Am I the only one who’s been puzzled about that? It’s not specifically about Biden, he’s just a tool in a game, for late night comedy, it’s all about Donald Trump, and they ignore that beyond him,  there’s a naked bloody battle between two US political parties. But why would comedians want to take sides in that battle?  And is doing that a good idea for their careers? I could have opened with: ”Late Night Biden? Since the left is now in histrionics over President Trump's perfectly legal use of the US tax code to avoid paying taxes for 10 out of the last 15 years,  perhaps they'll give as much attention to Joe Biden  - who used another perfectly legal tax 'loophole' to avoid approximately $500,000 in payroll taxes on $15 million in income. Of course, they ignored it in July when the  Wall Street Journal  reported that  Joe and Jill Biden   took advantage of the "S corporation" payroll tax loophole that the Obama-Biden administration unsuccessfully attempted to close. According to the report, the Bidens routed income from book sales and speeches through S corporations - avoiding the 3.8% self-employment tax they would have paid if they had been compensated directly, and  avoiding as much as $500,000  in taxes. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is preparing for the off-chance that neither President Trump nor Joe Biden will win an outright Electoral College victory - leaving the fate of the presidency to the House of Representatives. In such a scenario - which hasn't happened since 1876 - each state's delegation would receive a  single vote  in the House. Per  Politico : Who receives that vote is determined by an internal tally of each lawmaker in the delegation.  This means the presidency may not be decided by the party that controls the House itself  but by the one that controls more state delegations in the chamber. And  right now, Republicans control 26 delegations to Democrats’ 22, with Pennsylvania tied and Michigan a 7-6 plurality for Democrats, with a 14th seat held by independent Justin Amash .
